Second Extinction

Developer Systemic Reaction’s open-world co-op dino shooter Second Extinction was removed from Steam and Xbox on October 16. Theteam announced on the game’s official website that “some unforeseen show-stopping issues” barred Systemic Reaction from moving the game out of its early access (Steam) and game preview (Xbox) states, claiming Second Extinction didn’t quite “achieve the success” the studio hoped for despite the game’s ardent fanbase. As a result, the game is no longer for sale, though the developers specified that the online servers will remain active for the time being. The inevitable plan, Systemic Reaction said, is to pull the servers offline sometime “later next year.”
