Castlevania: Lords of Shadow left many unanswered questions lingering after the credits rolled, and Konami plans on answering them with a double dose of downloadable content coming next year to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The ending to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was...let's just say it was interesting and leave it at that. Hopefully some of the plot twists will get a little ironing out with next year's downloadable content.
The first batch of downloadable content is called Reverie, which sees Gabriel returning to the Castle to aid Laura, former servant to the vampire Carmilla. Apparently her queen was holding some sort of evil in check, and now that she's no longer a going concern, that evil is running rampant. Reverie will be hitting the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in February.
Then in April Konami follows up Reverie with Resurrection, which continues the story directly following the game's epilogue. Expect questions answered, new questions asked, and a showdown with "a very notorious enemy."
Expect prices for Reverie and Resurrection to be revealed as we get closer to their release dates.
So who is going to have to re-buy Lords of Shadow to play the DLC? *raises hand sheepishly*
