Brave warrior, the only thing that can defeat you now are sharp pointy things like pencils. And rough-housing. And sitting on the sofa funny. And rain.

But behold, here is genuine made-in-Japan cardboard samurai armor. The dark armor is patterned after Date Masamune’s, while the red is designed after Sanada Yukimura’s armor.

According to IT Media, each adult-sized set is priced at 2,980 yen (US$27), which might be cheap or expensive, depending on what you think about buying cardboard cosplay.

I think this is pretty cool.
