Canadian broadcast news organization CBC has put together audio documentary about propaganda games, featuring our own Stephen Totilo.

In the piece, they discuss the case of Amir Mirza Hekmati, a man sentenced to death by the Iranian government for, among other things, allegedly making propaganda video games for the company Kuma Games. They also talk about the broader ideas behind propaganda video games, including state-sponsored pro-American recruitment games like America's Army (pictured above).

Stephen Totilo money quote: "Frankly, if anyone wanted propaganda out of a video game company, they don't really need to pay them, because video games made in America are pretty jingoistic already."
