Apparently! Announced in 2005, Ni-Oh is apparently coming out next year. That’s eleven years after it was originally announced.
The game was first slated for the PS3, but has since been moved to the PS4. It’s based on an unearthed Akira Kurosawa script that follows the adventures of a blond-haired samurai in 16th century Japan.

This seems like sequel for Onimusha... which isn’t a bad thing!
Now to hope that the weapons will look like samurai weapons to the end and they don’t turn into some alien-looking weapons like they did in Onimusha. :D
