The Backhand Blade is a (you guessed it!) Backhand Blade weapon found in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This weapon can be one-handed or two-handed and offers you an agile playstyle that lets you aggressively punish your foes. If you’re looking to get in and get out regularly, you’ll find the Backhand Blade gets the job done extremely well.

Here’s what you need to know about the Backhand Blade and where to find it.

Backhand Blade stats and features

Backhand Blade has a weight of 2.0 and requires the following stats to wield:

  • STR - 10
  • DEX - 13

The weapon comes equipped with Ash of War: Blind Spot. This Ash of War allows you to sweep beside an enemy with a dash and attack them with a swift stab, providing you with a clean and easy way to get on top of your foes quickly without sacrificing damage. Just be careful when using this near ledges, as it can send you off the side due to the required sideways trajectory of the lunge.

Where to find Backhand Blade

You can find Backhand Blade in Gravesite Plain. When you’re ready to round up this useful weapon, head to the Scorched Ruins Site of Grace. From there, head northeast into the field toward the pillars in the distance.

Among the pillars will be a structure containing a glowing item, and you guessed it’s — that’s our Backhand Blade. However, take note that there are some enemies patrolling this area, so you may want to tackle them before picking up your new loot. Once they’re dead, though, the Backhand Blade will be all yours.
