@Testsubject909: Kinect is not doomed to be compared to EyeToy, because practically no one knows it ever existed or bought an EyeToy. Having stereo cameras, 4 mics, a motorized base and an IR scanner, accelerometer and onboard chipset makes Kinect as comparable to the EyeToy as a Ferrari is to a Civic. Read more
@Maverick128: Rafting sure. One of the games requires close tracking of your feet in a 3d space though, something I don't believe the Eye can do with a rough outline of your silhouette. Read more

@buddhatooda: No kidding. I see AI cars slowing down to avoid accidents and making double pass maneuvers in corners all the time. Heck, I even see AI drivers muff a corner and go off into the gravel, something I NEVER saw on GT. Read more

@MasterWolf: Kinect works fine from that distance already- it just can't see your feet and legs. Since all the games use feet and legs as controller inputs, the 6 foot rule applies. As far as hand only applications (like the dashboard), I can do it practically on top of the sensor right now. Read more
