I don't get the backlash here. If it's a different studio developing a spinoff for ME fans who want multiplayer, why the anger? It's not like this is affecting the development of ME3, and it might even get some shooter fans interested enough in the universe to go pick up the core game. Read more

I find it darkly ironic that so many people are outraged by Government overreaching into security at airports or loaning money to automakers, yet will climb right on board and support Government meddling in other areas that is ten times worse- just because it doesn't personally affect them right this second. I'm a complete nutter for Mass Effect 2, own all the DLC, played through it 5 times already, and absolutely love the series. All that said, I'd still have a hard time choosing it over Red Dead for GOTY. Read more
