No idea. I kind of took it for granted that it came with full composite cables, especially because in the description online it says 'composite AV cable'. What they didn't write - but is written on the side of the box - is 'composite AV cable (standard definition)' Read more

Just got my new 360 (old one finally bought the farm). It still blows my mind that in 2011, with HD written all over the box, microsoft still ships the 360 with regular a/v cables and you have to buy composite or hdmi. Read more

@mordicai: Book 3 is my favorite (never thought book 1 could be surpassed but there you go). Do yourself a favor - don't even buy book 4. If you manage to drag yourself through the whole thing you'll just be angry that you put in all that effort. Read more

@DukeOfPwn: Based on everything written about it yesterday, it sounds like it will definitely be worth playing after a few rounds of patching and tweaking. Of course by that time all you guys that had it since day 1 will be the skilled grizzly veterans that totally annihilate the new folks (if that's any consolation Read more

Thanks a bunch for posting this. I've been waiting for all the Brink reviews to start hitting and I think it's fair to say there has been a good share of internet drama about it all this morning. Read more

@CharginTarge: Victorian england/steampunky flavor was my first guess as well, but for some reason I don't think it will happen. Can you imagine jumping from a roof to double assassinate guys wearing a top hat and monocle though? Read more

@shouryuuken: Yeah, I agree. Once I saw the HD version in motion I thought it looked pretty darn good. Plus there is always the original which still looks good anyway. Read more

I don't care. I've been wishing and posting for this to happen for so long (albeit with lovingly new hand-drawn sprites rather than upscaled) that I'd be a major hypocrite if I didn't buy it. Read more

@TERROR-HORROR: I agree with both of you 100%. Everything about AC2 seemed magical, whereas assbro seemed like a glorified expansion pack. I kind of feel like we know everything we need to know about Ezio at this point and I'm ready for them to take the next big step forward with the setting, technology level, Read more

YESSS!! I have been working in Guardian Heroes wishes in just about every Treasure post for the last year or so. I am incredibly psyched to hear this! I might fire up the Saturn this afternoon to celebrate. And after playing that I might dive back into Dragon Force too :) Read more

Have there been any early reviews or 'first impressions' of Brink published anywhere? I wanted to preorder and get the amazon credit, but since it looks like we aren't getting a demo I'm nervous about how all the elements they are trying to incorporate will come together and just what the feel of the game is. @nickux: Heh, I'd be on that list. I've had super smash bros in my amazon cart for, what, 18 months? Every so often it drops from $44.54 to like $44.18, then a few hours later it's back where it was. So at $20, it's a no brainer. Read more

A lot of cutscenes in AC2 that show Leonardo and Ezio interacting seemed (at least to me) to very subtly indicate DaVinci's interest (more lingering glances, Leonardo getting distracted/flustered when talking to Ezio, etc). Read more
