I was going to say the same thing, except I was going to replace "XBLA" with "XBLIG" (Xbox Live Indie Games), and the paragraph about prices going up would have been about prices going down to $5/$3/$1. Read more
That's what I thought, looking at it. I had to look closely to make sure it wasn't in fact. Read more
I don't go talking smack about the developer community in Macau because I simply don't know. The Japanese forum commenter on 2ch should have either been quiet about it in their (apparently extreme) ignorance, or taken a few seconds to do a web search first. Read more
Perhaps most of the haters were 15 or under when Fable came out, and know nothing of his achievements before it. Read more
I was confused by your reference to 4 teams, so I searched it. While MLB is technically divided into two leagues, the fact that there're only 15 per league means that a more reasonable comparison is 8/30 for MLB versus 16/30 for the NHL. Read more

IBM has said they're working with Sony and Nintendo on new systems, officially. IBM has actively courted the game console market since the Atari Jaguar, and increased its CPU participation each generation since. Rumour and speculation about AMD, Intel, etc., seems hollow in the face of that. Read more

Before the Dreamcast, there was the Sega Saturn NetLink which not only offered head-to-head online play, but also the first instance of a web browser on a game console. This was an add-on for the system, though, not included like with the Dreamcast. Read more
