One way BioWare could have mitigated this problem was by coming up with better ways to prioritize quests to the player. Inquisition does feel like a game serving many masters. It wants to keep tradition for the old fans, but bring in the new ones. It also wants to have an open world, but it's their first try at something kind of sort of like Skyrim or Far Cry. In doing so, it dilutes its best elements. Read more
Well, I'd say Skyrim has a really fantastic world! The mission design and combat mechanics of Skyrim don't hold up, but I dumped 100+ hours into Skyrim because exploring was so god damn amazing. Read more

I'd actually argue the game should have more cutscenes. Too much of the dialog takes place from a boring camera view, rather than the dynamic camera angles. Read more
