Ugh, I have to disagree, at least on the 3DS version. I got it because of the good things I had heard, and was totally disappointed. I don't really know what story you're referring to, because the whole game was some poorly put together strings of dialogue with strange characters. The gameplay was alright, but didn't Read more

This sounds like a pretty uninformed statement, to be blunt. Whether you like them personally or not, games like Bastion are not "cheap" or "time wasters". Not even close. Read more

You have some decent points, but you're being a little too general in most of them. A blanket statement of " Indie games are not entertaining for anything longer than an hour" is just untrue. Also, saying in another comment/reply that Minecraft doesn't really count because only some people like it is just...strange. Read more

Well, I can't say I'm not intrigued. I don't know if I'll be donating myself, but I do wish them success. I certainly don't think it could hurt the industry to be shaken up a little, even if it only starts with indie games, so I would like to see what happens if this thing launches. Read more

Gameplay shows what you will actually be doing, not an artist's concept for the game world. Read more

As everyone else seems to be saying, why are CG trailers better than in-game clips or cutscenes? I would rather see the actual game in motion. Initial trailers that are pre-rendered are pretty normal, because it's your first taste of the game. But they often depict something that cannot actually take place in the Read more

This! I've always felt it was a great soundtrack after being surprised how good it was when I first played. "Brave Adventures" is my favorite, with it's clear "Amazing Grace" influence. Read more

The change kind of made me say, "whoa", but I think it's for the better! The comments are organized well and you can choose which discussions to read and be apart of. I'm not sure how it ranks or decides replies and posts yet, though. Read more

I don't think Patch Notes is a good name. To me, it doesn't convey the concept behind it, and like Jason said, irregular readers really won't know what it means. Read more

And, something still relevant to video games. Because the movie has a bunch of gaming references and nerd culture references. Read more

I saw this on Twitter before and thought the same thing—their ideas aren't too dissimilar! Especially when the real Molyneux tweeted the gem about the green square earlier. That could be straight out of the parody account's mouth! Read more
