I’m frankly amazed that Hearthstone and Gwent aren’t on this thing already - I’d love to get into one of those card games, but I’m not going to sit on my PC/PS4 to play something like that, it’d be so much better in handheld while watching Netflix. Read more

It’s just so perfect for the switch. I measure time in “Dungeon’s cleared” rather than hours now. I allow myself 2 dungeon clears at lunch; 1 dungeon clear while waiting for dinner to cook; 2 dungeon clears before going to bed. Read more

I bought Skyrim again on Switch last Friday and I have been playing it all weekend. Skyrim is perfect on the Switch. All video games need to be on the Switch. That is all. Read more

True answer: literally almost anything. Put it on the Switch and I’ll play it over almost any other platform.  Read more

With the amount of indies out on the Switch, I really would like to see more current ones like Heat Signature or Cuphead. Older games, I would kill for Just Cause 2. The shear scale of it would be great.

I totally get you here. Sometimes you just wanna get through a game without having to struggle. Unless it’s a game like Dark Souls where the difficulty is fundamentally linked to the experience the game shouldn’t mock you for wanting to take it easy and just enjoy the game. I recently started playing Nioh and I really Read more

On top of that, I feel like Wolfenstein takes a page out of the Call of Duty book of difficulty sliders. It doesn’t make enemies smarter a la Halo, it just gives them more health and godlike accuracy at ludicrous unfair ranges. I stick my head out from behind a tree trunk for a split second and I get one-shotted by Read more

I loved, loved, loved Revelations 2, but to this day I am utterly baffled by how highly so many people regard the first Revelations.

I played through it once, after it finally came to PC, and had to forcefully make myself finish it. The Queen Zenobia is a great setting for a Resident Evil game, though it’s essentially Read more

Wish more games did stuff like this, and on PS4 as well. After playing Breath of the Wild I find myself feeling restricted with anything else. Was playing The Last of Us Remastered and kept trying to move the controller while aiming. Getting Horizon Zero Dawn soon and I know I’ll definitely be missing it there. Read more

This reminds me of how much I loved RE4 on the Wii, totally going to look into this on my Switch. Read more

I loved the aiming with the Wii remote in RE4 and the PS Move in RE5, was very disappointed when they didn’t have it in RE6. Glad to see Capcom implementing this on Switch. Read more

I really enjoy the motion control aiming that Nintendo’s been doing lately. (Skyward Sword, Splatoon, Star Fox Zero, and Splatoon 2) but it’s nowhere near as accurate or precise as the infrared light gun technology used in the Wii remote. (Metroid Prime Trilogy, The Conduit, The Conduit 2, Red Steel 2, Call of Duty: Read more

Sounds similar to Splatoon’s motion controls- which are fantastic (once you get used to them) Read more

You know what’s even more satisfying after getting that moon? Jumping off the platform and ground-pounding the ENTIRE STACK. It’s. so. good. Read more

I really am amazed at how good pretty much all of the captures feel, they could really feel clunky or tacked on but they’re all done so well. The only one that’s kind of boring is the cheep-cheep, since they’re just for basic swimming. Even goombas are fun, thanks to the stacking. Read more
