And yet they will only make about 150 snes classic units world wide. Read more

Perhaps they just blow into it and send it back. Read more

Nice! I think I’ve had maybe a few disconnects from the left on mine but I use the pro almost exclusively for Splatoon. It’s good to know that Nintendo will fix this rather quickly if I need to send mine in. Read more

As somebody who has always hated shooting controls on consoles because of stick aiming, gyroscope aiming has been a godsend. The first time I realized how powerful they were was when I aced the Gerudo Training Grounds bow and arrow minigame in Ocarina of Time 3D on my first time which took me absolutely forever to do Read more

I actually do just fine with the analog sticks. In fact, I do REALLY well with them. I think it just depends on the type of weapon you use and your own personal play style. Read more

I’m usually a proponent of well-executed motion controls (the fine-tuning in Breath of the Wild works really well) but I couldn’t get the hang of it in Splatoon 2. Then I listened to the podcast and Kirk was saying that after playing with a separate Joy-Con in each hand he was getting top of the leaderboard pretty Read more

My confusion was more along the lines of, how did the self-proclaimed King in the North and his crew of a dozen dudes get all the way across war-ravaged Westeros without running into any sort of bandits, pirates, soldiers, or psychic Greyjoys? Read more

You are kind of using hindsight bias, no one knew off the bat that Highgarden was a target at the time. Read more

What annoys me is that the plan to attack Castarly Rock was kind of a stupid plan. Tyrion himself says that the Lannisters knew they were coming. Jaimie deduced that they couldn’t keep Castarly Rock (Especially since he likely knew Tryion had a way in.), so his best option was to use this tactical retreat as an Read more

Agree wholeheartedly! My experience in the plateau was very similar. I’ll add that this time around I even used the axe to cut down a tree and cross that gap by the old man’s house. And as you said, once you leave the plateau things soon become much easier, which really is a shame. There are still 2 things I’m looking Read more

The Final Fantasy series has a lot of catchy tunes that get into your head and stay there, not unlike marketing jingles. Uematsu is a hero of mine, but his music isn’t being made for a sophisticated audience, so it’s going to be fairly simple to listen to. It’s kind of like pop in that way. FFXII has a more Read more

This is awesome. I played the original game back in college, when I had lots of time (I didn’t study back in college ok.. whatever) to play games. Never finished it due to corrupted memory card. Read more

Hitoshi Sakimoto’s soundtracks are a different style than Nobuo Uematsu’s (Composed FF1-9). It’s grounded in a more sweeping orchestral style with less emphasis on melody and leitmotif. His old scores had to be done using PS1/PS2 midi samples for most of the games he worked on in the past: Including Final Fantasy

This might actually make me get the game. Since combat was so slow and grindy, I ended up ripping my game to an emulator so I could up the EXP and LP given. This seems like it miiiiight be a good idea to try out. Read more

The tapes were such a perfect touch to the character. Read more

Jamie Foxx had the most fun and was the most fun of the heisters, but I also thought Jon Hamm did the best job by the end. I like the movie, but the characters were all thin, and Hamm did the most with the material he had. Read more
