If you really want to play it, go ahead and get it now. It's still a fun, good-looking game on current-gen systems. Read more

We're looking into that. I don't have the Wii U version of the game, but we'll see what we can do in terms of figuring out if there's any noticeable difference. Having the map on the gamepad would be pretty cool on its own, though! Anything to get some of that UI junk off the main screen. Read more
It's not that small a difference when you see it in action, but I agree about the framerate. A definite reason the PC version will be the way to go, if you've got the juice for it. Read more
It seriously took me like 3-4 hours to beat it, even after breaking down and reading some tips. Read more
Ha, oh, that's not what I meant - I just meant that we'll cover the Xbox, too. Not that our coverage will necessarily have the same angle or anything! We'll see when I go check out their stuff. Read more
I was surprised at how light it feels, actually - today I fired up KZ2 just to play a little bit, and that game is heeeeavy by comparison. Shadow Fall is really snappy by comparison. Not insubstantial or anything - it really does feel like a Crysis game, a lot of the time. Generally though, it feels solid, and works… Read more
Just a note: This article focuses mainly on the PS4, since that was the event I attended. We'll be going to similar stuff in the near future for Xbox One, so expect similar coverage of that. Read more
The bad news is that we know the Wii U version of ACIV won't get any DLC. No word yet on Watch Dogs, though. Read more
Yeah, neither The Order or Infamous is delayed - it's just that they cancelled console preorders for any PS4 game that was at some point bundled at Target and has at some point had its release date change. I added an extra bit to the article to make that clear, since Target's own language is confusing. Read more
inFamous was initially planned as a launch title, but was bumped back to early 2014 a while ago. It looks like Target offered a The Order bundle at one point, though that game has never really had a release date, as far as I can tell. Read more
Those aren't ports, but few feel as experimental/innovative (and as touchscreen-essential) as Device 6. Sworcery does in some ways, and that's actually the game I'd most compare this one to, though they're entirely different genres. Read more
The majority of the games you just listed are ports of older games released on other systems. I'm talking about new ideas designed expressly for play on a touchscreen device. Read more

Check out the junk motion at 1:15. That is some next-gen junk!
You're not even holding a lightsaber. You're holding air. You are flailing. You don't look cool. Maybe you are six and you are having fun. Sorry, kid. More discriminating second-graders are building awesome stuff in Minecraft. That's the truth. Read more
Since this post covers enough of the same ground, this smaller thing probably doesn't merit its own post, but I'd like to throw a special "Zero" shout-out to a move that I've come to think of as the "First-Person Shooter Follow." That is, a mission—usually a stealth mission—where you have to follow a dude and do what…
