Yeah, that really is a crap ton. That’s more than most completed AAA games today. So, I really doubt the developers are going to show most of the game off before it’s even released. Based on that assumption I’m betting this game is close to 40-50 hours on the lower end. I don’t blame you for not wanting to have Read more

Gambit has historic blue balls because of Rogue’s power, also he’s a scoundrel. Couldn’t they have adopted Leech and put him in the next room? Rogue’s love life problems solved. Read more

you might want to tell that to Ms Marvel, of course Rogue held on to her for too long. Read more

This sounds super-fun! I would totally play that.

nice post... i love how metal gear solid v starts with basic enemy types and then slowly upgrades them organically in order to counter you most used strategies oblying you to improvise or try alternate approaches Read more

I would have so preferred tough-as-nails, powerful, sass-talking Rogue of the Jim Lee/X-men cartoon era Rogue in the movies instead of the wallflower version we got instead who just kept getting captured and crying a lot. Read more

Not what you’re looking for, but as close as you’re gonna get: Marvel Heroes.

I found Rocksteady’s approach to Batman to likely be the best approach on having you feel like a Superhero without obvious limitations:
Have an already impressive and seemingly limitless number of moves at your disposal, but hold off on a few for narrative reason.

Rogue has always been my fav! I think she’s one of the most developed heroes in comics. Both character wise and power wise. She needs to be in the spotlight more often. Read more

The correct answer is Gambit.

YES!

We NEED a good X - Men game. Need. Life is physically dependent on it. I’m talking the entire cast, campaign mode with support for multiplayer or solo, and online FPS mode. Need. Please. Someone. Read more

Another common criticism I've had of the industry and this generation. Last gen, we were treated to a bevy of great games with extremely memorable enemy types. That were both challenging and had personality. Covenant (and Forerunners, if you liked them) in Halo, Locust swarm in the Gears games, Read more

Infamous:Second Son draws at least a little inspiration for Delsin’s power set from Rogue. Though admittedly it’s a bit more limited from an actual mechanical standpoint in that he only gets those four power sets over the course of the story, and doesn’t kill everything he touches simply by doing the touching. This is probably a popular choice right after the lame picks of Batman/superman but honestly we need another great Spider-Man game. Web-slinging through the cityscape is so much cooler than flying. Read more

X-Men #173, the exact image and moment when I became a fan of Rogue and she’s always been my favorite X-Gal ever since.

This is beautifully written, particularly on no sleep. You hit on why I dismiss so many games out of hand that get rave reviews. I don’t play to level up or kill the bad guys or win epic L00Tz. I play to explore a new world. To immerse myself in a character, to become someone else. To explore, and to escape. Read more
