I hate The First Law books. That’s strong, but I feel strongly. Why? Because they felt pointless in the end. Nothing really changed. The journey all the way out and back is literally pointless. Whatshisface is still an outlaw, etc. There’s no momentum. No point. It felt futile to read. Read more

I think he’s in love with language, which wouldn’t translate well to game mechanics, but he’s a heck of a world builder, and I think he plots pretty well too. The ending of Perdido Street Station is GOAT tier. Read more

Yeah, I personally prefer Games With Gold just because everything is backwards compatible now, so I can play everything on my X1. Forza Horizon, like I wrote in the article, is one of my favorite games, so I was super pumped when it hit backwards compatibility. Runs like a dream on my Xbox. Obviously a PC version… Read more
