Ciao. Oh wait I'll still see you around.

It would require a pretty large shift in what the company does for them to become a publisher for the 3DS. They publish niche PC games and develop grand strategy titles, and it's the nook they've settled into quite well. Dunno if you've noticed buy Grand Strategy isn't exactly a thriving genre on the 3DS. They make PC games. I'm sure they'd be as upset as Blizzard would be at losing out on a shot at releasing on the 3DS. Read more

It's a model that's done them well for over a decade. You don't last 12 years if you're unprofitable. And since they're not a company that has built an "AA factory" but instead aim for the niche market I don't think they give a shit if "mostly everyone" doesn't go after their games. That's kind of the point. Read more

Tweaking, changing settings etc are things you don't have to bother with. Most modern games will do a scan of your system during install and set up the optimum settings. You can play with those or then choose to tweak them to suit. And tweaking the settings is a case of a drop down box between high/medium/low and your Read more

PS3 only thing. MS carry on fucking Valve (and many others) around, so Valve just flipped em the bird and jumped in bed with Sony. For this to work the online platform has to be "open" and XBL is far from that. Redeeming the free copy requires your PSN and Steam account be linked, so to have that on 360 it'd have to Read more

Linking the PSN n Steam accounts is it's own process and nothing to do with the free Steam copy of Portal 2. So you, your wife, your dog n the kitchen sink could each tie your own PSN account to your Steam accounts in order to chat with Steam friends n earn Steam Achievements, and the free copy would still be Read more

Only if you're special. If not, nope you'll have to wait like everyone else. Which could be only until Friday so not long. If you run high speed into a wall you'll sleep right through it. (no promises you'll be woken up by Steve Merchant though) Read more

Well you seen my purchases, you know which version I'm getting. And you know my gaming habits to know which version I'm playing. Read more

They'll of thought of it but apparently neither care. For every new copy of the game sold on PS3 so that someone can get the Steam version, Sony get a cut. If Sony sells 2 million copies of Portal 2 on PS3 then they get $20million or so. If a million of those are just cos it comes with the Steam version, that's Read more

You just sign up your sons PSN accounts to their own Steam accounts. And I'm pretty sure you can play online without having to sign up on Steam at all. That would actually probably break Sony's own EULA if it required Steam to play online. Read more

They're not doing it because PSN sucks they're doing it because, unlike XBL, PSN is actually open enough to allow Valve to piggy-back/trojan horse their service onto it. Read more

-Because some of those Steam Features aren't actually available on that console at the moment. (Voice chat, cloud saves, etc) Read more

There is a code. The Steam Support link for it clearly states that: Read more
