I actually agree with trimming down the roster a bit. If Nintendo want’s to represent more games and franchises, it should be in the forms of items, stages, and so forth. For example, while I don’t think this is at all likely. An Undertale stage would be far preferable to a playable character from that game.… Read more
Omega forms were a good idea - make stages less random, to help competition - but making every stage into Final Destination was not. Read more
A good single player adventure would be really nice. Subspace Emissary had the right idea to me, but ended up messing everything up by fighting generic enemies in generic environments. Part of what made Melee’s fun was being in the Mushroom Kingdom or doing a Metroid escape sequence. Combining the two would be ideal. Read more
