Van Helsing Does Diablo. At Least, That’s What This Game Looks Like.
NeocoreGames’ The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing was recently released on Steam to little fanfare. It looks fairly impressive for a $15 RPG, even though I get Diablo vibes so strong I can practically hear the menu music. They made a hell of a launch trailer, at least.

EA’s Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen has recently said that they “are building titles for the Nintendo consoles, but not anywhere near as many as we are for PS or Xbox.” This seems to contradict the stance they took last week, when they stated that they are not working on any games for the Wii…

Silas Greaves of Gunslinger Really Loves Shooting Guys in the Face
Case in point: a four-minute (!) launch trailer, consisting of Mr. Greaves shooting people in the face with a wide variety of weapons. It Took Them 19 Years To Add Fishing To The Elder Scrolls
Morrowind even hadfishing poles. No way to use them, though. Luckily, it appears we’ll finally have actual fishing in Bethesda’s RPG series with The Elder Scrolls Online (wading into the water and hitting the use key over fish in Skyrim doesn’t count). Also, crafting and loot and stuff. TES Online is coming in 2013.

First-person horror game/toddler simulator Among the Sleep now has a playable alpha you can try out. It starts out innocently enough, with your mum singing you to sleep, but from there, it goes downhill. Rapidly. Also, their Kickstarter managed to hit its funding goal. Huzzah!
