I'm willing to bet that the Teenage years are a period of time they can get away with. Anything during 1912 to 1949 and then much of after 1949 would be considered off limits. Mostly because the history is already set by the party. if you re tell it, you would risk confusing the public. Read more

give it a watch. You'll still get the rough and bootleg feeling but so far parts 1 and 2 have enough character to push it forward. of course minus the voice work. There are some connections to Journey to the West and DBZ in that there is a ragtag of heroes fitting the JotW motifs coming together for the mission. The DBZ element is more strongly the laser beams but the humor and JotW stands the same. Read more
