The Chinese version adds Dr. Wu calling Jarvis in CHinese (no subtitles) telling him that "China can help".

Then there's a scene where Fan Bingbing (unnamed till she shows up in the credits) walks down a hall and says Tony's here.

Then there's the surgery where he gets shrapnel removed.

Co-productions don't add to the Quota - That's why hollywood is trying to shoehorn random Chinese footage. My biggest outrage and gripe this time around was because they made such a big deal on how Looper was a terrible Co-production. They said Looper didn't add much with their Shanghai Element. Compared to Looper, Read more

I'm 100% sure they had the shawarma scene outside of the US. My friend in Japan said they saw it, and I saw the Avengers again in Taipei and it was there. My Hong Kong friends also saw it =[

You didn't miss much though.

Although with Iron Man 3, the end scene ties the movie together. I mean who the heck was Tony Read more

Everyone interested can write their own on their own Kinja blogs!! Read more

the movie's bad but it makes it worse. In China- there was so much build up about the extra Chinese footage, that it all turns out to be for naught! Read more

Well, I don't think we're blaming the producers for a bad Chinese version - They optioned to Co-produce this film with China's DMG so they can bypass the 24(now 36?) foreign film quota per year.

It's appalling what they're doing just to get in the China market. I personally believe that they should add a bit more Read more

I'm not sure, but perhaps she didn't do a bathroom break? Though I find it hard not to pee every like 5 hours. Maybe it's because I have bladder control issues ;-; Read more

Good advice!! I'm glad to hear that you're getting better! Stay safe and healthy. Read more

Seriously, just make sure you take breaks! I like how the 3DS games have little reminders that say "remember to take a break" Read more
