unable to send you a pm >_> but yeah here are some examples in English though they paint a much nicer picture (HK and TW press are much more vicious) - here's a brief when he got drunk and interrupted a concert ala Kanye style http://www.hollywood.com/news/Drunk_Jackie_Chan_Interrupts_Concert/3529383 Read more

No clue =[ maybe they're waiting for China Joy to officially announce? Read more

I hope it's a hoax. if it's proven we'll change it to HOAX. Unfortunately it's taken as fact in Asia. You should see some of the videos on Taiwanese/HK and Beijing TV on this. Though I'd have to find it online first >_< Read more

Will do will send you some stuff once i get home. sorry to keep you waiting. Read more

He is fixing his image but it gets odd. Do note that my original phrasing was if he was really claiming to have dodged going to Aurora for the sake of promoting his new movie that would make him a loser, on top of that it was mentioned that he wasn't as loved in Asia as he is in the west. =[ Not really character Read more

He's a drunk, he has multiple illegitimate children, mind you though in recent years he's been getting better. Read more

I'm very much with you on that. I think the media maybe using him for their own ploy. Read more

We did mention it. this thing seems to be going around everywhere. Chan hasn't come out to say anything against it. I'd be glad to take it off or fix it should he complain or come out against it. Read more

yeah but for xinhua to have it as well it's strange, the media in the Mainland love him but everyone knows he's not that great.. Read more

He's not exactly very well loved in asia. Read more

I don't exactly think he's mean but his reputation in Asia isn't as great as it is in America. He's known for being the Mel Gibson of China and Hong Kong... Read more

yeah but the premise is pretty much Jackie Chan Adventures! Think about it - it's supposedly about the Chinese Zodiac and how there are 12 bronze medallions! It's like JCA but more adult. Read more

I completely agree with what you're saying. Read more

I'm interested in which photo you used as your profile picture Mr. T! Read more

I concur. Lisa does a great job. Mind you, many columnists within the industry aren't exactly from journalist stock. On that note, I find her use of "Hilarious" to be just fine. She has her type of humor which is quite funny. Read more

heh! thank you. I try to be honest and I am terrible =]. But yeah normally journalism ethics have you wanting to prevent showing people's faces unless they're on public property. Arcades and etc count as private. stock photos and agencies get away cause they do something to get permission it's kind of odd. Read more

no need to worry. This story comes from Xinjiang, a very tumultuous part of China, so news is often just text. The photo is just a stock photo of a Chinese Arcade that I took. The blur is because we don't really want to show random people's faces without express permission...and because I'm a terrible photographer. Read more

I completely agree. Movies benefit from having good actors. Like William H Macy, he's an amazing actor and he's in loads of movies. Read more

The report said they were 1-5 fen which is 1-5 chinese cents. now if 50cents RMB = 3 cents USD, it would be safe to say that one token = about 0.3 cents. That's scary cheap. Read more
