yeah its a very odd dichotomy in China, on the one hand they culturally and historically detest the Japanese but on the other hand they eat up japanese culture. The battle system of FFXI was very much like a turn based game - I guess it was bad phrasing. I was thinking more or less the AT Bar on top of that also FFXI had one on one battles - you lock onto an enemy other players couldn't really kill steal.
