I make videos for Kotaku. I make video games for myself and my friends. I like writing fiction. Someday I will publish a novel. Who knows!

Totally fair stance. I think this post in particular probably creates frustrations as it references a list, and people LOVE READING LISTS. Read more

As a NYU Game Design Alumnus, I have a profound admiration for Bennett Foddy. One would be inclined to think he is just a troll for making these types of games, but 5 minutes talking to him shows he knows so much about game design and development he is able to create those experiences, that while simple, will make you Read more

This is my favorite Tim Rogers video that I’ve seen.

On average, approximately 8.4% of my attempts to comment on Kotaku are ever approved and visible to the public, not because they violate any sort of rule or are offensive, but because they were posted more than 15 minutes after the article was originally published Read more

SPINAL GRANTASY VII – My new favourite joke, and not only because one of my 4th disc images was finally used for something more than just existing as an interesting archive of stuff. Read more

Keep it coming! I love this series! The only thing that I notice at all anymore is Mario’s shadow. It doesn’t shadow the way everything else shadows (look at it compared to the shadows of the ice blocks and things) his is always directly under him, as if the sun is hovering right above him. To the point where when he’s riding Jaxi around Mario’s shadow Read more

AC set in Ancient Rome is pretty much my dream game. Well, that and Red Dead Redemption 2: The Redenning. Read more

Yes, we’re talking about the same Kotaku, a news and opinion outlet like any other that will have successes and stumbles along the way. I agonize about stories all the time, some I wish we did better, some that we’ve had to run despite a lot of resistance from people involved who didn’t want us to tell a fair Read more

I dunno, this feels like a conversation people had a bunch a few years back, but seems to be increasingly, well, not true anymore... Just my two cents! Read more
