Today Ellie and Lucy came back to us in tiny little Cherry wood boxes.
Sort of sad, but we’ve got Littlefoot around cheering us up. Oh, and Trish adopted a 6-month old… um… something? that was about to be put to sleep in Kansas over the weekend. The new dog’s name is Ginger. The kennel said she was a dachshund mix. The rescue said she was a chihuahua mix. When we got her she looked like a Lab mix. The vet thinks maybe some springer.
Trish is a little worried people will think she didn’t care about Lucy and Ellie after adopting so quickly. That couldn’t be further from the truth, but it was adopt Ginger or let her be killed. She made the right call.
