Arcades dead? Never say die! This past summer, arcade Galloping Ghost opened in Brookfield, Illinois. With over 180 cabinets, it's the second largest arcade in the U.S.
A recent local news report gives a nostalgic tour of the Galloping Ghost, which is run by the indie devs behind Dark Presence. The game is aiming for a 2011 release and will even feature Dr. Phillip Ahn, who played Shang Tsung in the second Mortal Kombat title.
The arcade's website has a list of titles that can currently be played (197 games!) as well as a list of titles currently being repaired (38 games!). There's even list of titles the arcade hopes to acquire (so cool).
Fifteen bucks gets players unlimited play until 2am. More details in the news report below. Insert coin and watch.
