24. Bedtime Stories (2008)
Adam Sandler in a squeaky-clean Disney movie sounds like magic on paper, but Bedtime Stories is nothing revelatory for the normally crude superstar. Sandler stars as a hotel maintenance man whose bedtime stories to his niece and nephew impausibly become true in reality. But while Sandler starts weaving tall tales of heroism and riches, the oblivious kids offer up some wacky twists of their own. By virtue of its Disney overlords, Bedtime Stories is sanitized Sandler romp the whole family can enjoy, but it’s not anyone’s idea of a dream come true.
