According to this image, which is apparently from an upcoming Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, popular anime Attack on Titan is getting a 3DS game this year in Japan from Spike Chunsoft.

This could have potential. That being said I wonder how the game will comfortably be controlled on the 3DS? I'd imagine to do the property justice, gameplay wise, two analog sticks would be a must. Otherwise you'll have to use a convoluted control scheme like Kid Icarus: Uprising did.

Basically, my two cents are, for the best gameplay matching the style of the series it would better for this to be on the Vita, but it is on the 3DS instead cause obviously that is the more popular system and thus the game will sell more copies.

I just hope someone releases the game in the West, too. There are a lot of Attack on Titan fans outside of Japan, and for us not to be able to play it thanks to the 3DS' region lock would suuuuuuck.
