Texas court-at-law judge William Adams was filmed (warning: graphic violence) beating his disabled daughter Hillary. The video appeared on YouTube, and the unsympathetic judge has admitted it was real—noting that it's "not as bad as it looks on tape".

Hillary was apparently beaten for illegally downloading video games and music, and now the judge is saying that his daughter posted the seven-year-old video after he cut her off financially.

A fight supposedly erupted after Hillary decided to "drop out" and work part-time in a video game store. In a statement released by the 51-year-old judge, he said his daughter warned him that he "would live to regret" reducing her financial support and taking away her Mercedes.

Adams will not face charges for the beating, because the police said that too much time has passed. According to AP, if the judge isn't punished by the police or the judicial commission, he could be on the bench until he comes up for re-election in three years.

Last week, his daughter posted the video of the beating. It currently has over 2.4 million views and sparked national media attention.
