Hello, Kotaku. The night is dark, and full of terrors. Oh, and video game news. So let's take a five-minute break with some music, OK?
Welcome to Soundtrack. A new bonus segment here on Kotaku. This isn't a trap. We're just relaxing with some tunes. Stuff we think you might like to stick on while you're gaming, or reading about games, or just...sitting around.
And tonight, we relax with On the Painted Desert, a track originally from Japanese electronic group Boom Boom Satellites, but in this instance re-worked into something much more tranquil by their fellow countryman, DJ Krush.
It's taken from Krush's 2001 project Reload - The Remix Collection, in which the hip-hop and electronic legend puts his own spin on songs by everyone from Miles Davis to Japanese vocalist AKO to rapper Rappagariya.
