A Look at Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II's Most Yoda, Least Worthwhile Level

I was harsh, you might think too harsh, about the Dagobah level in my review of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.

I said it added nothing, that there was no gameplay, no significant plot points, nothing but a slick looking cut-scene wrapped in two minutes of walking.

That can't be true, right? See for yourself as you watch the entire level unfold before you, mostly spoiler free, in this video. This is "playing" the level on the hardest, Unleashed, setting. Not that it makes any difference.

I can't remind you enough, this is the ENTIRE level and one of only four locations in the game. No gameplay was cut from the video, just a cut-scene.

DISCUSSION

This is relevant to PC week I think. It shows how the console has degraded the game experience to the point that games are made that are wholly uninspiring and then they poop out a sequel for you to buy that is even less so - at full price I might add. People talk about how PC gaming is dieing. What about consoles? I don't know about you but I have had my Xbox360 for 4, or maybe 5 years, now. In that same amount of time I have more PC games bought and played than on my console by a factor of 10. Why? Because there are better games on the PC than on the console.
