Perhaps angered by the large amount of used Xbox 360s and PlayStation 3s sitting around his local video game store, commenter Uncle Jesse can't help but wonder why someone would part with a perfectly good console in the middle of its prime. Let's find out in today's Speak Up on Kotaku.

Why the heck would you sell off your home console you've had for years at half the price you paid for it or less even?! I get it if we've entered the next gen, but during the current one?! Why?!

I've seen and heard so many instances of people selling off their system, only to regret it and buy another one again when a big game is released! Explain it to me why you decided to sell your console and what you actually got out of it - was it worth it? Really?
