Gunpei Yokoi, who sadly killed in an auto accident in 1997, was a gaming wizard. A new exhibit in Tokyo's Harajuku pays its respects to Yokoi's legacy.
During the 1960s and 1970s, Yokoi created a wide array of toys for Nintendo. Later he would create Nintendo handheld devices like the Game & Watch and the Nintendo Game Boy. He also designed games like Metroid.
The exhibit runs until August 29. It has used Game Boys and Love Tester reproductions available for purchase.
