This box art for TT Games' Lego Battles strategy game for the Nintendo DS is about as exciting as the screenshot gallery gets.

Translating the Lego Castles, Pirates, and Space sets into a real-time strategy game is a brilliant idea, but when you shrink the whole thing down to function on the Nintendo DS, you lose a little bit of the Lego charm. Character-based Lego action games on the DS are one thing, as the characters are generally larger and so recognizable that your mind fills in the missing bits. All I am seeing here are generic little guys with green bars over their heads on equally generic playfields.
