Sonic Generations ruled when it came out in 2011. It switched between the classic side-scrolling perspective of Sonic games of yore and the more modern 3D levels like those found in Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colors. Well, Sonic Team thought the game ruled, too, because the studio is bringing it back with a remaster that features the darkness hedgehog Shadow. TitledSonic X Shadow Generations, the upcoming fast-paced platformer adds a new campaign with Shadow the Hedgehog as a playable character. There’s no release date, but Sonic X Shadow Generations drops this fall for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4/5, and Xbox Series X/S.
