Hatsune Miku is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Sega has announced Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39’s, launching in Japan in early 2020. It’s a new rhythm game (via Gematsu) featuring 101 songs, 300 costumes and new game modes built specifically for the Switch. Miku’s even been given a bit of an anime makeover. So happy.

Nice! Still play Future Tone on the PS4 all the time, so hopefully this comes out here too, it’d definitely be a buy for me. But I guess the Switch isn’t region locked, right, so even if it doesn’t get an English release, there’s always importing.

On a side note... what does the 39 mean? I don’t mean for this game, I mean for Vocaloid in general. It shows up all the time in references and even song titles, but I have no idea its significance.
