DISCUSSION

I always want to like Manly Men Doing Manly Things, but I always get the impression while reading it that the main character is just the Artist’s perfect dream man. A huge buff dude that is perfect in every way, smart, sensitive, a good father, brave, etc etc. And it just has become too obvious with each page I read, because the guy literally has like, no flaws at all, and the jokes typically tend to be how much better he is than everyone else around him.
This alone wouldn’t be a huge deal, but I also read awhile back that he’s based off her father, which started to make it kinda creepy to me.
