Custom controller designer Shed of Dreams decided to make a PS4 dualshock inspired by the new Monster Hunter: World game coming next year. I’ll give them this: it definitely looks like something you might craft from the remains of dead monsters.
In addition to the scaly black skin on the handle parts the creator also went to town adding custom buttons. The skulls replacing the traditional square, circle, triangle and X buttons are especially metal.
Shed of Dreams’ other controller projects are a little more resigned, focusing on patters and color swaps rather than hand-crafted incisors. If you happen to love the more grim side of Monster Hunter or who have a Hagrid-like love of magical beasts, now there’s finally a PS4 controller for you.
