There’s a new Hot Shots Golf game out for the PlayStation 4! Except now they’re calling it Everybody’s Golf. How “for everybody” is it? Watch my video to find out!

Everybody’s Golf, by the way, is the title they’ve always used in Europe and Japan. Now that they’ve unified the titles in all territories, we can finally say that Everybody’s Golf is “for everybody, for everybody”.

Like Gran Turismo, Everybody’s Golf has walked hand-in-hand with the PlayStation since 1997. Like Gran Turismo, Everybody’s Golf is a “lifestyle” product. Unlike Gran Turismo, its mission statement in 1997 was to be less of a realistic simulation than its contemporary competitors. I should know: I played a heck-ton of EA Sports golf games on the Genesis, man. Those games were pretty much chemistry homework. Everybody’s Golf is an extremely appropriate title in comparison to those games.

This new Everybody’s Golf is full to bursting with modern features (it’s got an open world, character customization, hundreds of clothing items, and online multiplayer), and it’s as shiny as a car commercial. It’s out now.

Now that players in all release territories are unified by the friendship of sharing the title of this game series, should they call the next one Everybuddy’s Golf? I certainly think so! (No, I don’t. That was a joke.)
