These photos were taken by photographer Lin Xi, who said he's inspired by anime and manga, and appeared on China's micro-blogging service Sina Weibo around Valentine's Day. The images were viewed thousands of time, with people praising the photos.
According to ShanghaiIst, one net user said, "I want to be her boyfriend." Her real one?
There are also a slew of "imaginary girlfriend" photos from Sina Weibo user Li27n making the internet rounds in China. Some of these images, however, first popped up online last year.
