Namco Bandai’s tactics RPG cavalcade of cross-company characters is exclusive to a Nintendo handheld, so how about some Nintendo-owned heroes? Fire Emblem: Awakening’s Chrom and Lucina are a great start, and they’ve picked a perfect partner for Xenosaga’s KOS-MOS.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is a massive game—and one I am still not even close to finishing. However, with over 70 hours of gameplay under my belt, I think I am finally ready to tell you what this game is all about.
I’ve spent a lot of time in the sprawling open world of Xenoblade Chronicles X, doing quests and just exploring. And given how much time I’ve spent running, that got me to wondering just how large the main continent was.
Then I promptly broke it.
I had no idea how much I wanted an RPG to let me do this until now.
Xenoblade Chronicles X may be on a system far less graphically powerful than the PS4 or Xbox One, but that doesn’t stop it from having some of the most beautiful alien scenery I’ve seen in a game.
Xenoblade Chronicles was one of the best RPGs the Wii had to offer; and while we didn’t exactly love last month’s 3DS port of the game, we’re still excited to play the Wii U sequel. So join us as the Up All Night Stream plays Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Ever since I transferred everything to my new 3DS, I’ve played with the 3D slider permanently on. With Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, though (the first game made specifically for the New 3DS, in that it won’t work on an old one) I had to turn it off, because there was just too much happening on-screen.
I know it's only February. But this year, these are going to be hard to top. Congrats, Xenoblade Chronicles X, for some of the dumbest-looking characters of 2015!
