You might have a big fancy TV in your living room. One that spans from wall to wall, with 4K or even 8K resolution, and a robust sound system to full immerse yourself into your TV shows, movies, or sports. The thing is, its unrealistic for a lot of folks to have that setup in every room of their home. Maybe you like to watch a little bit of TV from bed before falling asleep. Or perhaps you have a home gym and want to binge a show while or the treadmill, or how about even catching up on some YouTube while working in the garage.
For these instances, you’re just looking for something that does its job, looks good enough, and is of an adequate size for the space. This is the job Insignia was born to do. Amazon has a 32-inch Insignia Class F20 Series TV that usually sells for just $130. That’s already a pretty affordable entry point for a smart TV, but right now it happens to be almost half off. The discount brings it down to just $70 for a limited time.
So with this TV, again, you’re not getting the best of the best, 2026-level tech, top to bottom. It only has a resolution of 720p. However, at its size of 32-inches, from a standard viewing distance, that’s not really all too bad.
It does however support DTS Virtual-X Sound which is able to simulate 3D sound right from the speakers. It won’t compete with a proper sound system, but it does what’s it’s designed to do.
Fire TV Supported
What’s really great about Insignia TVs is they come running Amazon’s Fire TV interface right out of the box. Now, smart TV UIs do come down a bit to personal preference, but Fire TV stands out as a great, reliable option with a logical layout that easy to navigate. It’s definitely my preferred way to get around all my shows and movies I watch frequently.
With Fire TV, you’ll have access tons of content across popular apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Apple TV+, Disney+, and more. While these all require subscription, you’ll also have a lot of free content so peruse across Pluto TV and even YouTube.
As far as connections go, the Insignia TV has two HDMI ports so you can connect to a cable box, Blu-ray player, or gaming console. It even supports HDMI ARC so you can connect a compatible soundbar if you would prefer even better sound.
