It's not staffed entirely by robots, mind you. There are earthlings on duty, too!
Recently, a "space-themed" capsule hotel has opened in Shenzhen, China, reports website The Nanfang Insider. The hotel has a groovy 2001 vibe going on:
There's a robot doorman, it seems, and a waiter bot to bring you the drinks you order from a touch screen tablet. Pretty neat! There seems to be a person working the front desk—among, most likely, many other jobs.
Here are the capsules where guests sleep as well as the bathrooms and the laundry.
These computers are available to use.
The laundry room.
And the bathroom.
This photo, with the tablet and the girly pic, is from the hotel's official site. Hey, space exploration is a lonely business!
