It’s almost May, which means it’s time for your annual dose of leaks and teases leading up to the yearly Call of Duty reveal. As of today, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's Nuketown map has a teaser for this year’s game, which isn’t announced yet but will be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
This morning, in what was most certainly an organic match of Call of Duty and definitely not part of an Activision marketing plan, NBA player Karl Anthony-Towns teamed up with Twitch streamer Swiftor to play some Nuketown. During the stream, they discovered that the ending of matches on Nuketown now contains a spaceship (pictured above). Subtle!
Clearly, as has been rumored, Infinite Warfare will be way into sci-fi. Rumor suggests there will be space combat, which sounds pretty rad. It’ll also come with a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which the COD twitter account confirmed in the best way possible earlier this week. Now we just wait for them to, you know, announce the game.
