Microsoft: Majority Of World's Publishers Working On Natal Games

Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's entertainment and devices division (which includes the Xbox 360), has told the Financial Post that most of the world's publishers are at work on games for Project Natal, the 360's upcoming motion control peripheral.

"We have something like 70% or 80% of the publishers in the world already doing Natal-based games", he told the Canadian business site. "Our first party studios are [also] very focused on this. We want to have a few titles from Microsoft that show the way and then we want the breadth and power of the ecosystem from our partners to bring lots of new ideas, new innovations, new concepts to the marketplace."

During the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft announced that companies such as Activision, Bethesda, Capcom, Konami, Square Enix and Electronic Arts were developing titles for the peripheral, along with famous developers like Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid) and Sega's Toshihiro "Brown Man" Nagoshi (Yakuza, Monkey Ball).

Guess that list has been added to since then!
