If ever there was a movie that lent itself to the endless runner genre, it's 1994's Tom Hanks classic, Forrest Gump. And here we are, with Run Forrest Run.

Currently available in the fertile app testing grounds of New Zealand:, Run Forrest Run is a free endless runner based on the running bits from the movie based off of Winston Groom's 1986 novel. Officially licensed by Paramount and published by Genera mobile, the game opens with young Jenny delivering her signature line, and Forrest — well, he listens.

After a brief tutorial as young Forrest, we transition to the adult version, as he winds his way through traffic, jumping over trains and sliding under traffic cones, just like in the movie, or Subway Surfers.

So far Run Forrest Run is every endless runner released in the past couple of years. In fact, I'd say it's a good stopping point for the genre. We're done here. Let's endlessly do something else instead. Or maybe do some things with ends. Ends are cool.
