EVO Wasn't The Only Impressive Tournament This Weekend

It was a massive weekend for eSports. Gfinity—a Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Tournament that granted the winner $55,000—dominated the UK and EVO broke new ground for the fighting game community in Las Vegas. Not only were the events themselves a big deal but there were shake-ups with some of the top Call of Duty teams in North America.

Needless to say, it was a busy weekend for eSports.

I still feel like you guys should amend that Smash Bros article. 138K viewers was nice, but Marvel broke that "record" two hours later with 145K.

It doesn't matter, its all good for the FGC. Thanks to all the non-competitive players who took the time out of their day to watch such an imporant part of our culture!
