The last few years has seen gaming go from being possibly as affordable as it ever has been, to being substantially more expensive as components have gone up, along with all sorts of other things affecting how viable importing and exporting things can be. It means that we, as the consumers, are really suffering through awful price increases. While the ideal is to just not spend anything now, sometimes you need new tech, so it’s good to know when the deals are on.
The Xbox Controller is one of the more ubiquitous options on the market, as it can be used for the consoles themselves, of course, but also PC gaming, cloud gaming, and plenty of mobile games as well. It’s usually on sale for $65, but today you can get it for $52 instead thanks to a 21% discount. It’s definitely a deal that’s worth checking out, but there’s no way of knowing how long it’ll actually last for.

The Xbox Controller has everything you need to enjoy gaming, apart from a battery pack, which these still don’t use for some reason. We do recommend either getting a rechargable pack, or just investing in some rechargable batteries in general. Outside of that though, this controller is incredibly comfortable and easy to hold, thanks to its overall form factor and the textured grip, making it good even when you are quite literally sweating from trying so hard.
Along with that, it has textured thumbsticks and triggers, just to make it all a lot easier to use, and it’s got the best control scheme out there as well. If you’re after a controller for anything other than a PlayStation or Nintendo Switch, then this is almost always your best bet. You can also just connect it via a USB-C port if you don’t want to use it wirelessly and deal with battery issues.
This is easily one of the best controllers money can buy, as long as you’re not going for one of the high-end options and spending hundreds. It’s also one that’s already relatively good value for your money, but while it’s on sale, there’s no denying it’s worth it. If you do want a new controller, and you can spare the $52 for it, then this is one of the best chances to get it, and being quick to secure it is a must.
