The Insignia 32-inch F20 is a small smart TV running Amazon’s Fire TV interface. The 720p HD display is on the lower end of what’s standard in 2026, but matches the screen size well at the close viewing distances 32-inch TVs are usually used at. Three HDMI ports on the back handle a cable box, gaming console, or soundbar, and an Alexa Voice Remote ships in the box for navigating the Fire TV interface by voice. WiFi, Ethernet, AirPlay, and Miracast all come built in.

The Insignia 32-inch F20 LED HD Smart Fire TV is currently $70 on Amazon, down from its $130 list price for a 46% discount. Over the past decade, living room TVs have shifted to 55-inch and 65-inch models, so 32-inch TVs aren’t easy to find on shelves at this point. The F20 fills the gap for rooms where bigger isn’t practical, such as a second TV in the bedroom, a kitchen counter for catching morning news, a garage workshop, or a guest room used a few times a year.

A Fire TV that lets you stream all your favorite content and then some

The Fire TV interface puts streaming front and center. Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Prime Video, Max, Peacock, YouTube, and Apple TV+ come preloaded, so the TV is ready for streaming within minutes of plugging it in. Pressing the microphone button on the Alexa Voice Remote also lets you say “play Severance” and skip the on-screen keyboard. Sling, YouTube TV, and over-the-air channels (with an antenna) all appear on the same home screen alongside the streaming apps.

The 720p panel was the resolution most HDTVs ran at before 1080p and 4K became common. It might not be as sharp, but the picture quality handles Netflix, sports, and morning news without issue. The downward-firing speakers use DTS TruSurround processing to deliver wider audio than the cabinet size would suggest. Plugging a soundbar into the HDMI ARC port also improves audio quality if you’d rather not rely on the built-ins.

At under 12 pounds with the stand attached, the F20 is light enough to set on a dresser, kitchen counter, or guest room desk without a wall mount. VESA 100×100 brackets work if you’d rather wall-mount the TV, which keeps the footprint down in a small bedroom or kitchen corner. A 3.5mm headphone jack on the back is useful for plugging in headphones during late-night viewing without waking up roommates or a sleeping partner. The included stand legs are about 25 inches apart, so the TV needs a surface at least that wide to rest on.

The F20 is one of the cheapest paths to a smart TV with every streaming app preloaded. At $70, down from $130, this is roughly the price of a standalone streaming stick. For a kid’s bedroom, a guest room, a kitchen counter, or anywhere a larger TV won’t fit, the discount makes this an easy add.
